The Modular Fiddle is a great excuse to learn new software and design techniques. These parts were designed in Autodesk Generative Design, and were OpenFab’s first generative design projects. The bridge makes the violin sound very different!
We are currently exploring how else these design techniques can be applied to the violin, as well as implementing them for client projects.
