The printed chinrest is combined with standard metal mounting hardware with cork backing. This chin rest is not annealed for high temperature resistance, so if it is left in the sun it could possibly loosen (unilkely, though). Just keep a chinrest wrench or paper clip in your case so if it loosens someday you can tighten it.
